Imogen Arate is an award-winning writer and multimedia artist who has written poetry since her tween years, in five languages and published in two.

Her poems “A Declaration of Loyalty ” and “Sanctuary” took home the second and third prize of the 2020 National Federation of Press Women (NFPW) at-large Communications Contest.
She served as a national-level poetry judge for NFPW’s Communications Contests in 2021, 2022 and 2025.
